A private observatory, shared on clear nights

Witchmark Observatory is my privately owned observatory, not a large visitor attraction or commercial venue. On selected clear nights, I open it to a small group so others can experience the night sky through a telescope for themselves.

Each evening begins with a short introduction, continues with personally guided observing and finishes with hot chocolate and questions.

The Starsmith is the travelling astronomy-show side of what I do. I bring visual storytelling, live demonstrations, audience participation and practical experiments to schools, venues and organisations.

These are not conventional lectures filled with slides. The audience becomes part of the show, and the experience can run throughout the year without relying on clear weather.
