Introducing a new approach to stargazing... from hosted star-parties with guided use of our telescopes or private use of the Observatory to view the night sky from the comfort of our cosy self contained Witchmark Cabin.
With most Stargazing talks, the evening comprises of a talk about the night sky and IF you're lucky with the weather you're invited to look through one or two telescopes shared with others.
Our evening is different.
At Witchmark Observatory, you book onto a queue and when the weather is guaranteed to be clear, you're offered the opportunity to come up for the evening. If you can't make it, you're offered first place on the next evening and so on.. We have a maximum of 10 people per evening which means that there's a maximum of 2 people per telescope.
Also with that, you are given the opportunity to see what's going on in the high quality Witchmark Observatory telescopes for an evening of guaranteed wonder!
